Update: Very sadly, Hassop Hall has been sold and is no longer operating as a hotel or wedding venue.  Even so, I hope you’ll still enjoy having a look through the wedding photography gallery below.

As a photographer I’m there quite often, summer and winter, and find it quite enchanting.  To add to the delightful rural atmosphere of this beautiful country house, out in the gardens you can often see buzzards circling overhead.

Even though both the house and the magnificent separate ballroom are very fine, proceedings never feel uncomfortably formal. Guests are always made to feel very welcome and they quickly feel at home.

If you have a winter wedding at Hassop Hall there is plenty of space inside for everyone and roaring fires add to the special atmosphere.
