RELAXED WEDDINGS AT THIS AMAZING VENUE

Weddings at Hargate Hall are always such wonderful occasions. Close to Buxton in the Derbyshire Peak District, Hargate Hall really is a delight, whether for a civil wedding or a reception, .

I’ve been the wedding photographer at Hargate Hall quite a few times and find it quite enchanting. There’s a delightful rural ambience around this lovely country house where the house party atmosphere feels much less formal than some larger country houses. Though beautiful Wormhill feels very rural, it really isn’t too far away from the towns of Buxton, Bakewell and even Stockport and Manchester.

Guests are always made to feel very welcome and they quickly feel very much at home here. The gardens of Hargate Hall are large and peaceful and yet straight away buzz with the exciting and happy atmosphere of a family occasion. Receptions are held in an impressive marquee which, hidden away, blends in seamlessly with the garden layout. Then the evening party atmosphere usually continues back in the main house.
