Wedding Photographers at Arley Hall and Gardens
As the wedding season calms down a little, it’s great to get together with other wedding photographers. A small band of six wedding photographers from across the UK met up recently for a model shooting day at the absolutely stunning Arley Hall & Gardens in Northwich in Cheshire. I don’t think they often see quite as many wedding photographers at Arley Hall all at once! All of us are members of a small group, the Independent Professional Photographers Network,
Generally I shoot the majority of a wedding with a more informal manner than you might see in the images here. However it’s always extremely valuable to spend the occasional day working with professional models. It’s also valuable and inspiring to work alongside other wedding photographers who I know.
It was a particularly beautiful day for photography, especially so for October. The light was exquisite and we were all determined to make the very best of that light, albeit in our own individual ways. It was quite noticeable how we each had our own styles and distinctive ways of working.
The models, James Dorman, Charlotte Rose, Sadie Eleanor and Phil Bruce were superb. I can thoroughly recommend all of them.
We also had extremely generous help with loan of dresses, suits and accessories from Aisle B Yours Bridal Boutique and some beautiful flowers from Ann Laing Flowers.
Big thanks to Carol Higgins of Carol Elizabeth Photography. Carol did the majority of the organisation and running around to make the day happen.
Here are a few of my own shots from the day – hope you enjoy them!
Thanks for looking. If you’d like to get in touch about your wedding photography I’d absolutely love to hear from you!
