Wedding Photography at Thornbridge Hall.

I’ve been the photographer for quite a few weddings at Thornbridge Hall.  Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell is an astonishing private house in the Derbyshire Peak District. Winter or summer, this fascinating house makes for a genuinely stunning venue for your wedding.

When the guests arrive on the front lawn in summer, they are treated to a backdrop of this Derbyshire house and a breathtaking view of miles of beautiful Derbyshire Peak District countryside. It makes for a delightful location for your drinks reception. The gardens have so many beautiful parts for you and your guests to enjoy and lose yourselves in. Just perfect for fabulous and enjoyable wedding photography. A garden and house like that can make the whole day very special!

What’s the ideal kind of photographer for a wedding at Thornbridge ?

If you have a wedding photographer who is discreet for large parts of the day but who then gets everybody together in a professional way for some really enjoyable group shots, it really can help the day go beautifully.

If the weather isn’t the best, indoors is amazing too. Once everyone is seated in the superb coach house ready for the wedding breakfast, the day just continues being perfect!

Here I’ve put together a few photographs from weddings held at Thornbridge Hall.  Actually I’m showing just the receptions here because the ceremonies themselves were church ceremonies elsewhere. One thing that they all had in common was that they were gorgeous warm-hearted occasions with really lovely people.
