A Perfect Day for Wedding Photography at Hassop Hall
One Saturday back in September was the most perfect day for wedding photography at Hassop Hall near Sheffield and Taddington Church near Buxton.
Kate and David are one of the nicest couples you could wish to meet and the wedding was a real pleasure to photograph. A beautiful Derbyshire day in late summer, two gorgeous locations and a wonderful group of people add up to something really special.
I don’t often work with a second shooter because it takes a rare wedding photographer to really fulfill the role effectively. However on this occasion I was extremely lucky in that fellow wedding photographer Carol Higgins was able to make it all the way from Oxfordshire.
Kate got ready at Hassop Hall before going on to the lovely Taddington Church. Taddington Church, near Buxton is a beautiful church dating back to the 14th century and looks over one of the highest villages in England. After the ceremony we stopped off at the famous old bridge at Ashford on the way back to Hassop Hall for some pictures and a breather for Kate and David.
What a gorgeous day and a gorgeous wedding. So much so that the English Wedding Blog used it for one of their articles. You can read more about Kate and David’s day here.
My very best wishes to Kate and David.
