With just my favourite Fuji camera for company, in late February I boarded the Eurostar from St. Pancras to shoot some street photography in Paris. With the sole aim of capturing life in the French capital, I was keen not to duplicate the many familiar photographs of Paris that already exist in their thousands.
After some intense observation of life in this bustling city, it was with considerable anticipation that I returned to look through what I’d managed to capture of the French capital. From a whole day of torrential rain (well, it was February) to some very pleasant warm sunshine along the Champs Elysées, it felt as though more than a week had been crammed into the three days that I’d allowed myself.
Although I’ve explored Paris quite a few times in the past, this was the first visit in quite a few years. Perhaps with a different perspective now, to the point where I’m already yearning to return.
