Jemma and Andrew’s wedding photography at Peak Edge Hotel, Chesterfield
Jemma and Andrew held their winter wedding at Peak Edge Hotel, a beautifully located wedding venue high above Chesterfield. As a Sheffield wedding photographer I was delighted to be asked to capture a Christmas wedding at such a wonderful Derbyshire wedding venue.
The Peak Edge Hotel is in a stunning location – wow it was cold up there! Nobody cared though because it was such a lovely day and the occasion was as warm as any wedding I’ve been to!
A gorgeous winter wedding..
I knew straight away when I arrived that this was going to be special just by meeting the friends and family of the bride and groom. Sure enough it was a delightful day and being their wedding photographer was a joy.
Jemma got ready at the Peak Edge Hotel near Sheffield. After the ceremony and a drink everyone moved outside to brave the cold for some group photographs. We worked quickly and had a lot of fun! Afterwards Jemma and Andrew went for a short walk around to the beautiful gardens for a few photographs of the two of them. We then dashed back inside to warm up surrounded by Christmas trees and twinkling lights – the atmosphere was very festive.
Then for the meal which everyone agreed was excellent. Peak Edge Hotel certainly look after their brides and grooms and their guests. The meal was followed by speeches and then the moment everyone had been waiting for – the first dance!
Jemma and Andrew – thank you for choosing me to take your wedding photographs. I really wish you both all the very best for your future together. Somehow I know that it will be wonderful!
