A joyous summer wedding at Losehill House

A Day to Remember!  A Joyous Summer Wedding at Losehill House.

I always smile with affection at that beautiful summer day. After covid forced them to postpone their wedding by four months, teachers Kate and Steve held their wedding at Losehill House on a particularly stunning day during the summer holidays.

The ingredients were all there for a wonderful occasion. Perfect weather (okay it was rather hot for many), a great venue in a stunning location, an enjoyable ceremony and a couple who were so clearly loved by everyone. The Humanist ceremony was a delight, warmly led by celebrant Louise Luke out on the lawn in the gazebo.

Laughter was all around, right from Kate and the girls getting ready at Losehill through to those dodgy waiters (who turned out not to be waiters at all but a brilliant fun singing group), the speeches, cake cutting and then finally the dancing.

I took loads of informal photographs throughout the day to tell the whole story, plus some posed but fun group shots. And of course photographs of the two of them. Right from the beginning it was one delightful and enjoyable day.

Here’s what Kate and Steve kindly wrote back to say about the photography of their wedding at Losehill House:

“We absolutely LOVE them! We’ve just looked through the lot and we’re so chuffed with how much of the day you’ve managed to capture i.e. everything! Thank you so much for taking such beautiful pictures of the venue (and all the various ‘activities’ going on) and all our guests. We don’t know how you’ve managed to make us look half decent too (lots of editing perhaps?!!!)*  but we’re not complaining – lots and lots of photos for us to treasure.”

* Absolutely not! Just nice processing – you both looked absolutely fantastic!

And then…

“Thanks once again for being such a kind and patient (and very talented!) photographer – so many of our guests commented on how brilliant you were! We’re absolutely delighted with the results.”

Both of you – it was a joy and a privilege to be asked to photograph and document your wedding. Thank you so much!  Wishing you both (and your beautiful fox terrier!) all the very best.
