Lynn and Ryan held their wedding at Hollywood House with a ceremony at nearby Saint John The Evangelist in Hazelwood. Saint John’s is a particularly lovely church in the Derbyshire countryside, not far from Derby. The reception was held at nearby Hollywood House, close to Belper.
It was a fine summer day and a particularly warm and a special atmosphere permeated the whole day. Around a hundred family and friends attended and every one of them played a part in making the day a real joy.
Lynn and the girls prepared for the wedding at Hollywood House using the Hollywood themed bedrooms – a movie buff’s paradise! Make-up was by Ali Gunn.
Outside a rather fine looking VW Camper was being readied for the short drive to the church.
Meanwhile at Saint John’s church, Ryan and his fine band of teenage ushers arrived. Photographs were taken before Lynn arrived. Accompanying her was chief bridesmaid, Lynn and Ryan’s young daughter Cordelia. Well done Cordelia, you really did a wonderful job as bridesmaid throughout the entire day!

Everything about the service in this delightful rural church was just lovely: the heartfelt vows, the wonderful music and the warm wishes from family and friends all combined to make it a day to remember for everyone.
Confetti thrown excitedly, hugs exchanged and photographs taken, time to head back to Hollywood House for the celebration.

And so it was back to Hollywood House for the guests to enjoy canapés, a celebratory drink and wonderful company. Some group photographs and lots of informal shots out there in the August sunshine were followed by some speeches on the steps in front of the house. Then the call came to go into the dining room for an excellent wedding breakfast.
Informal photographs were taken throughout of the guests and the family then later some more of Lynn and Ryan as the sun went down.
And then the dancing….!
