Such a Happy Buxton Wedding
If I was asked to sum up the recent wedding in Buxton of Robyn and Wesley in just one word, it would be…. “happy”!
Because the whole day in the summer of 2018 was a delight, being the photographer at their Buxton wedding was an absolute privilege. Because the early summer skies were so clear and the sun shone all day long, the light was exquisite. The party absolutely buzzed with happiness for Robyn and Wes.
A Busy Buxton Wedding…
The day started with Robyn and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents’ house. Then it was off to Trinity Church in Buxton for a truly joyful, warm and extremely sincere wedding ceremony. Obviously I didn’t have time to count but there were certainly a lot of people there! The ceremony was followed by a few group photographs. That was followed by the buzz of coffee and refreshments. Everyone was happy to chat and linger out in the sunshine because it was such a beautiful day, while I took lots of informal photographs.
Very shortly afterwards I met Robyn and Wesley in the wonderful Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. There we did some enjoyable wedding portraits of the two of them in that gorgeous sunshine. They were such a delight to work with and the wedding photography was really fun.
Continuing that happy theme it was then on to the lovely French restaurant Bar Brasserie in Buxton for lunch. That was followed by speeches and cake cutting.
Eventually it was time to head for the huge Buxton Pavilion for the evening. There they were joined by many more guests to help them celebrate with fun, live music and dancing.
Looking Back…
Every one of the guests will remember Robyn and Wesley’s Buxton wedding with a warm smile, looking back on what was a very special day.
You can see some very kind comments that Robyn and Wes sent to me at the top of this Kind Words page.
Thank you both for asking me to be your wedding photographer in Buxton. It was a joy and a privilege. Warmest congratulations to you both!
