A Gorgeous Buxton Wedding at The Lee Wood Hotel
Emma and Stewart’s wedding at The Lee Wood Hotel was particularly lovely. They chose well with The Lee Wood, which fitted their group perfectly and who really looked after them. And what a lovely group of people they were! It all felt very family orientated but with a select group of friends who clearly thought the world of the two of them.
The Ceremony
Emma wore a traditional white wedding dress and looked just amazing! She got ready at the hotel where I met her family for the first time. So Emma’s parents were around all morning and Emma’s sister was her bridesmaid. They really were the nicest people anyone could wish to meet.
And so off down that fine staircase and into the conservatory, full of daylight for a warm hearted, happy and sincere ceremony.
Then it was outside for drinks and some family group photographs in the very attractive gardens of the Lee Wood.
The Celebrations
And then time for the wedding party to relax, meet and enjoy. A really good meal followed by some heartfelt and enjoyable speeches. All along there was some serious and highly determined competition to see who could blow the best bubbles – I’m sure the bubbles on the top table were better than the others!
Going round the tables, the relatives were all chatty and so friendly, whilst the other guests ranged from great fun to completely crackers (see image below!).
Nothing was rushed that day and the whole afternoon was very relaxed. The evening came along with lots of ways for the guests to become involved. Emma and Stewart cut the cake and did their first dance. And then I went home with a smile thinking “what a cracking day!”
Really best wishes to you both for a fantastic future and thanks for asking me to be the photographer for your wonderful wedding day.
